The GoChess Wizard Alive board separated into five layers: smoke, wizard pieces, the lit marble board, the robotic drive units on their lattice grid, and the black base.

Five layers

The pieces move themselves.

Under the marble there is a second board. A lattice the drive units read, one unit per moving piece, navigating the grid to carry a knight to its square without a hand touching it.
